[I've requested this addition on Letterboxd]
As I mentioned during the TRIE adaptation, it was the best Filipino Wattpad adaptation to date, but SSA came and took the title from me. With the cast reveal, people had prior thoughts, especially regarding Jerome Ponce as Hiro. However, he did not disappoint; instead, he gained fans because of his excellent portrayal of Hiro.While watching, I felt like I wasn't just a viewer; I felt like I was a part of their lives. Maybe it's because I've read the University Series countless times; that's why each character holds a special place in my heart. HiYa's story is one of my fave from the univ series so i kinda expected a good outcome (kinda lang dahil sa TRIE and I'm glad na mas maganda ang treatment sa SSA) This is the best adaptation so far sa series.. real (at least for me)
Medyo napapangiwi lang minsan kapag nag-iingles sila pero they tried and somehow delivered pa rin naman. I can really feel the barkada bond here + magaling si Baby Avi! Undeniably tolerable kesa sa TRIE. + handled the love scenes with ease.

the emotional stress this gave me is on another level, from yanna lying and saying avi isn’t hiro’s to the fucking plane crash?! the way they set up the shots beforehand I was like “why are they making it seem like he isn’t coming back?” and then yanna dropping the plane figurine right after i was like “NO PLS DONT BE FORESHADOWING PLS” had me absolutely sobbing my eyes out
